Aw, I love Dannyl's little secret! It's awesome. Bringing a gay relationship into a book that's aimed at children as well as adults is really good. As far as I'm concerned, kids need to understand that it's been something that's always happened, always will, and look how damn cute a right it is!
*was soooo so chuffed when Dannyl and Tayend got together*
*does a happy dance*

I was also surprised. I did know about Dannyl's past but I didn't know he and Tayend would get together.. I think it's really cute^^ *smiles* And indeed, it's good that Trudi puts in a gay relationship, to show children (and adults) that it's completely normal. Trudi Canavan rocks!!

Have you read High Lord?
They're lovers, it says it at the start!
Just 'cause she didn't go into detail...
A part of me is glad she didnt cause my imagination filled in the rest... another part wishes she did 'cause theyre SOOOOOOO cute together!!!
I LOVE them!
My favourite charachters from any book i've ever read, without a doubt! ;D

awwwww~
I loved it! didn't start "The High Lord" yet, but had to finish "The Novice" yesterday after the whole rescue-no-magic-feeling-scene started! *__*
I've gotta agree, it's sooo cute! And although I heard reviews that criticised this point of the book, I think it is essential and very important, as it is an open statement for accepting gay relationships and so forth! (sorry if I sound weird by saying it that way, but that's just how I feel about it ^_^°)

I'm glad she put it into the book too i thought they were so cute expecially because when you read the first book you fall in love with how sweet Dannyl is and then he falls in love

I loved the Dannyl/Tayend thing in the second (?) book, but when TC recapped it in THL it seemed abit... rushed and not as sweet as before. I know it was just to retell the story, but she'd written it in such a cute way before it seeme da shame. Dannyl is still my fave character tho! Loved the self-healing bit.
